Vittorio Vaccaro ritorna al Teatro San Babila di Milano dopo il successo di MYTHOS – LA DONNA 2.0 nell’ottobre 2018, mettendo al centro della sua ricerca i classici greci.
Prodotto da Fama Fantasma srl-Teatro San Babila, dal 22 al 27 gennaio 2019, Vittorio Vaccaro debutta in Le nuvole di Aristofane. Nella celebre commedia greca Strepsiade manda il figlio Fidippide dal filosofo Socrate, perché impari l’arte oratoria per imbrogliare i creditori, ma il figlio userà quello che ha imparato anche contro il padre, creando divertenti risvolti comici.
Vittorio Vaccaro dirige una compagnia di attori selezionati tramite un laboratorio teatrale che lavorano per la prima volta con lui, Christian Gallucci, Stefania Monaco, Michele Pagliai, Margherita Peluso, Ester Spassini, Marino Zerbin in una messa in scena che richiama la Commedia dell’Arte e l’Avanspettacolo. Racconta Vittorio Vaccaro durante le prove in teatro: «il testo è ancora molto attuale, inoltre lo ho ricollegato ai codici della Commedia dell’Arte e dell’Avanspettacolo: gli attori si esibiscono su una pedana e utilizzano la maschera e il linguaggio della maschera, inserendo anche accenti di musicalità. Le nuvole, che nell’originale simboleggiano la filosofia di Socrate, tramite divinità, mentre egli sta sospeso in una cesta in mezzo a loro, qui vengono rappresentate da una figura attuale, le donne delle pulizie che sono lì a pulire e poi diventano, con un gioco comico, appunto le nuvole di Socrate, così da inserire anche inserti di quotidianità.
Come accadeva nel teatro di Aristofane, il gioco scenico procede, prendendo di mira alcuni personaggi contemporanei, e nel mio allestimento gli attori si rivolgono al pubblico, anche in modo molto divertente, ma diretto, creando un teatro senza filtri, anche volgare ma che diviene un gioco corale divertente in cui tutti i sei attori sono coprotagonisti. Ritorno sempre con piacere al Teatro San Babila in cui anche il festival Mythos, che dirigo, è cresciuto. È infatti importante riportare i classici in teatro, anche riscrivendoli e collegandoli a fatti sempre attuali, come ho fatto io quest’anno, legando il festival al femminicidio, alla violenza sulle donne che sono calpestate da una società maschilistica ed egocentrica. Il teatro classico può sempre dare un insegnamento poiché i testi di Eschilo, Euripide, Sofocle e di Aristofane sono scritti magistralmente e anche il pubblico di oggi se ne accorge venendo a teatro. Inoltre, durante Mythos si sono creati attori professionisti, grazie a incontri e laboratori teatrali che diventano una vera palestra dell’attore dalla quale ho scelto i miei sei bravissimi attori e ora vi aspetto a teatro, che dal mondo classico ad oggi diviene il luogo prescelto in cui possiamo raccontare storie.» Ar.C
