39 students studying film, games and television in the UK or US have been awarded BAFTA scholarships for the new academic year, as announced earlier this week. Joining the 24 students from the UK, China and US who are already part of the scheme are a further 10 British and 5 Chinese students (pictured), who will gain free access to BAFTA events and receive one-to-one mentoring from BAFTA members like you, award winners and nominees. The award-winning actor and producer will receive the Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film at this year’s AMD British Academy Britannia Awards, presented by American Airlines. The award, presented by Newegg, is given to individuals whose work is stamped with authorship and commitment, and who has lifted the craft to new heights. The ceremony takes place in Los Angeles on 27 October 2017.
