Il Los Angeles Web Series Festival, più comunemente conosciuto come il Los Angeles Web Fest, è un festival dedicato alle serie web con sede a Los Angeles, California. E ‘stato fondato nel 2009 dal produttore produttore televisivo Michael Ajakwe ed è ampiamente riconosciuto come il più antico e più grande festival di serie web in tutto il mondo.
La prima edizione si è svolta nel 2010. La sede è cambiata più volte sin dal suo inizio fino ad approdare negli Studios della Warner Bros per l’edizione del 2016. La kermesse vanta collaborazioni con altri festival di serie web di primo piano delle principali capitali mondiali, tra cui il Roma Web Fest, fondato e diretto da Janet De Nardis, WebFest Berlin fondato da Meredith Berkholder, Korea Web Fest fondato da Young Man Kand, Merseille Web Fest, Rio Web Fest e tanti altri.
Dal 2010, più di 1200 serie web sono state mostrate al LAWEBFEST, provenienti da 47 diversi Stati e 36 Paesi. Dal momento che l’obiettivo di LAWEBFEST è quello di esporre ed educare il pubblico alle serie web, sono stati presentati quasi 200 laboratori didattici che si occupano di tutti gli aspetti della serie web di produzione, distribuzione e commercializzazione.
Condivisibilità, autenticità, interattività, creatività, qualità. Certo elementi inscindibili e indispensabili per mantenere attivo un elevato numero di pubblico e di fans. La qualità che la kermesse conserva come tratto distintivo rispetto ad altri è il suo essere frutto di un aggiornamento continuo che, sebbene da un lato offra visibilità e possibilità di auto-promuoversi, dall’altro richiede un lavoro assiduo, passione e grande forza di volontà. Chapeau!
Per l’edizione 2016, noi di Voce Spettacolo, abbiamo ricevuto il privilegio di assistere alla cerimonia di premiazione svoltasi presso lo Steven J. Ross Theater – Warner Bros. Studios.

The Los Angeles Web Series Festival, most commonly known as Los Angeles Web Fest is a festival dedicated to Web Series, undertaken in Los Angeles, California. It was founded in 2009 by TV producer Michael Ajakwe and it’s largely recognized as the first and greatest Web Series festival worldwide.
The first edition has been carried out in 2010. The headquarter has changed a few times from the beginning, until it’s landed to the Warner Bros Studios for the 2016 edition. The Kermesse claims collaborations with other prominent Web Series festivals from the main countries worldwide, such as Rome Web Fest, founded and directed by Janet De Nardis, WebFest Berlin, founded by Meredith Berkholder, Korea Web Fest, founded by Young Man Kand, Merseille Web Fest, Rio Web Fest and many others.
Since 2010, more than 1200 Web Series have been shown at LAWEBFEST, coming from 47 different nations and 36 countries. Since LAWEBFEST target was to show and introduce its audience to Web Series, have been presented almost 200 workshops, dealing with all aspects of producing, distributing and merchandise Web Series.

The quality the kermesse holds as key feature, compared to others is the fact of being the result of a constant updating, which despite from one side offers visibility and power of self-promoting, from the other side it requires assiduous efforts.
In occasion of the 2016 edition, Voce Spettacolo have received the privilege of attending the awarding ceremony, carried at the Steven J. Ross Theater – Warner Bros. Studios.
