Voce Spettacolo Short Film Showcase is created to discover emerging filmmakers, showcase independent short films and give new cinematic voices the visibility they deserve.
Open to filmmakers from all around the world, the Showcase welcomes short films across genres and formats, creating a professional space where filmmakers can present their work, reach a wider audience and potentially connect with new opportunities in the film industry.
HOW IT WORKS
1. SUBMIT YOUR SHORT FILM
Submit your short film online for just $9.90 (€9.90)
Every submission receives consideration for the monthly Showcase and social media visibility through Voce Spettacolo’s channels.
2. GET YOUR FILM SEEN
Every submitted film can be featured through our social media channels, giving filmmakers an opportunity to introduce their work to the Voce Spettacolo community and Los Angeles audience.
Depending on the format and platform, promotional content may include:
- Film poster or official artwork
- Film title
- Director’s name
- Short description or logline
- Filmmaker’s social media tag
- Trailer or film link, where appropriate
Social media visibility is included with every paid submission.
3. MONTHLY SHOWCASE SELECTION
Each month, Voce Spettacolo reviews the submitted films and selects the SHORT FILM OF THE MONTH.
The monthly winner receives special recognition and additional promotional visibility and will be professionally evaluated by Voce Spettacolo for potential festival distribution opportunities.
The evaluation may consider the film’s artistic quality, festival potential, genre, audience, previous selections and overall distribution prospects.
Being selected as Short Film of the Month does not automatically guarantee a distribution agreement. Any potential distribution partnership will be subject to a separate evaluation and agreement between Voce Spettacolo and the filmmaker.

OUR MISSION
There are thousands of talented filmmakers creating outstanding short films every year. Many of these films never receive the visibility or professional opportunities they deserve.
Voce Spettacolo Short Film Showcase was created to help change that: our goal is to create an accessible platform where filmmakers can submit their work, gain visibility, be discovered and potentially take the next step in their professional journey.
The Showcase also serves as a talent discovery initiative for Voce Spettacolo, allowing us to identify promising filmmakers and projects for potential future collaborations in festival distribution, international promotion, awards strategy and other film industry opportunities.

Submission does not guarantee Official Selection, Short Film of the Month recognition, screening or distribution. Social media visibility is included with each paid submission but does not guarantee a specific number of posts, impressions, views or engagement. The submission fee is non-refundable. Any potential distribution agreement is subject to separate evaluation and contractual agreement.
