Interview by Nik Hollywood
Hi Sasha!! It’s a great pleasure to have you as our guest on Vocespettacolo.com. Lets’ start from the first question.. Let’s have a jump into the past. What was your dream since when you were a kid? What would you like to do?
I had never been sure of what exactly I would do in the future, but I knew I would draw! I’ve always liked it. In my childhood it was clear for me, that my future profession would have to do with artistic creation, as it was something I liked and I was really good at.
Who is Sasha Unisex?
Sasha Unisex – artist, tattoo artist
How did you start and how was your first experience in the tattoo world?
First, I wanted to learn more about the craft, the culture, I started to meet different tattoo astists, attend thematic events, than I bought the neccessary equipment , found people, able to tell me more about the profession. I never had one teacher, I tried to take something from different people, and of course I had to learn a lot from my personal experience.
What is your biggest inspiration?
I’m mostly inspired by the people, I made my pictures/tattoos for. When I see, how a person dreams of some particular tattoo, how much it means for him, I want ot do as much as i can to make this dream come true
What’s the best and worst aspect of your job?
The best aspect is that I really love my job, I like to draw, create, like to meet different interesting people. The worst one is probably the fact, that I am not able to make a tattoo for everyone, who wants it, as in my case, the demand exceeds the supply.
What does Sasha like the most about herself and what the less?
What I like about myself is patience, sense of purpose, don’t like laziness.
What are your best satisfactions you had in your life and career?
I hope, that all the greatest ups in my career are still to come, today I don’t find myself successful enough
Do you really believe in everything you do? … And really do everything you believe in?
All I do is sincerely and come from the very heart, so I believe in all this.
Sasha obeys more to his heart or his head?
As any creative person and, in the first place, as a girl I really want to listen to my heart, nevertheless I use my head quite often.
Dreams always have a price?
I think yes, you need to work hard, to get what you want, luck never comes out of blue.
