Los Angeles CA, 18 dicembre 2023: L’International Press Academy (IPA) ha annunciato oggi le nomination per la 28ª edizione dei Satellite™ Awards in Motion Picture and Television.

I premi speciali sono: il Mary Pickford Award per l’eccezionale contributo artistico all’industria dello spettacolo, il Tesla Award per i risultati visionari nella tecnologia cinematografica, l’Auteur Award, l’Humanitarian Award, lo Stunt Performance Award e l’Honorary Satellite Award. I vincitori saranno annunciati il 15 gennaio 2024.

L’International Press Academy seleziona i candidati ai SATELLITE™ AWARDS tra le candidature nazionali e internazionali per 35 categorie: 23 cinematografiche e 12 televisive. Le candidature derivano dalle proiezioni in anteprima ai festival cinematografici di tutto il mondo (BAFTA, Cannes, Sundance, Telluride, Venezia, Berlino, Tribeca, TIFF), nonché dalle proiezioni di considerazione inviate ai singoli giornalisti e/o ai link autorizzati, se disponibili entro la scadenza.

I vincitori dei Satellite™ Awards saranno annunciati il 18 febbraio 2024 a Los Angeles.

Tra i circa 200 membri della prestigiosa organizzazione hollywoodiana troviamo anche il materano Walter Nicoletti, attore, produttore e regista qualificato agli Oscar®, già membro anche degli Independent Spirit Awards, Online Film & Television Association e American Film Institute.
